The FF6 BOWTIE
This antenna was developed in response to the frequency repack. We now have UHF 14-36 and VHF 2-13. The design is by holl_ands ( and others ) the computer runs look great so I'm giving this a try. If it does as well as promised, it should kick..........and it does.

The next phase is the construction of the reflector screens. Like everything else in the world today this too is on hold until things get back to normal, whatever that is.....
Follow-up - This is a fabulous antenna. Attaching reflector screens simply made the structure too big and heavy, a departure from the easily handled antennas I normally build. So,, I called a friend who lives in wide open pasture. He has a 4 bay bowtie without reflector I built for him a few years ago. We exchanged antennas and he now has the ff6 without reflectors. His signal meter on the TV across all available channels went way up from the normal levels. He is very happy and I'm glad to find a home for this big beautiful antenna.
CONCLUSION - THE FF6 is great at solving the lower UHF frequency issues that many are experiencing. The 6 bays of bows increase reception and help to increase signal stability with increased gain. If you have a clear view with no major obstructions or trees this antenna without reflector is a powerhouse at reception for all UHF frequencies.
